About row 3

How is Spencer Morris different from the other candidates running for Congressional District 7?

Unlike many of the other candidates who have declared their intent to run for Congressional District 7, Spencer has lived in the Pee Dee region his entire life with the exception of a 2-year faculty position he held in Greenwood, SC from 2002 to 2004. For the past 17 years, Spencer has made Georgetown, SC his home. Additionally, Spencer has previously held public office as a member of the SC Board of Pharmacy from 2013 to 2020. The majority of the other candidates have either never held public office or do not have previous regulatory experience. Additionally, Spencer is one of only two health care professionals who are running to represent Congressional District 7 in 2022.
